Web Presence Training for Teams and Small Businesses
A practical, hands-on full-day workshop that teaches your team how websites actually work, how to design for real users, how to get found on search engines, and how to use analytics to make decisions. Covers everything from domains and UX to SEO and Google Analytics. No jargon, no coding, just the knowledge your team needs to make confident digital decisions.
The Problem
Your team uses your website every day. But do they actually understand how it works?
Most people in most organisations treat their website like a mystery box. Something their designer built, their agency manages, or their developer updates. When it’s working, nobody thinks about it. When it’s not, nobody quite knows why.
The result is a team that cannot have confident conversations about their own digital presence.
They cannot spot what is working and what is not. They cannot push back on suppliers.
They cannot make informed decisions about budget, content, SEO, or the next redesign.
And they often cannot tell the difference between a good website and one that just looks good.
This workshop changes that. It does not turn your team into web developers.
It turns them into informed, confident digital decision-makers.
What your team will gain
-
Understand how a website actually works
From domains and hosting to page structure and navigation, your team will leave with a clear, jargon-free understanding of what makes a website function, and what choices matter at every stage.
-
Get found, and know what's working
They will understand the basics of SEO, how search engines decide what ranks, how to choose keywords that match what real people search for, and how to use heatmaps and Google Analytics to see what visitors are actually doing on the site.
-
Design for users, not just for looks
They will learn the fundamentals of User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design, spot common UX failures, and understand how to make a website work for the people actually using it, not just for the person commissioning it.
Who is this for?
Is this the right training for your organisation?
This workshop is for teams and organisations who want to take more informed ownership of their web presence.
It is not a coding course and it is not a course for web developers. It is the course for everyone else, the people who make decisions about the website, brief suppliers, create content, and rely on it to drive business.
This training is a strong fit if:
- Your team manages a website but has never been trained on how it actually works
- You want your marketing, sales, or operations people to have smarter conversations with suppliers and developers
- You are about to commission a new website or redesign and want your team ready to make informed decisions
- You are an SME owner who wants your whole team aligned on what good looks like online
- You want your team to understand SEO and analytics without drowning in technical detail
- You want practical, hands-on learning that produces confident decision-makers, not just certificates
