Our Approach to Artificial Intelligence (AI)

This is our public statement on how we use AI responsibly. For information on how we handle your personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.

AI is core to what we do at Technology Coaching.

We teach it, we build with it, and we use it every day to run our own business.

That gives us a front-row seat to both its power and its limits, and we take our own advice seriously: use AI well, and never let it replace human judgement.

This statement explains how we use AI at Technology Coaching, and the commitments we make to our clients, students, suppliers and partners.

How we use AI

We use approved AI tools, including Claude and the automation we build through GoHighLevel and ScoreApp, to support work such as:

Drafting and improving written content, then reviewing it ourselves before it goes out
Researching topics and summarising information for our training and client work
Building automations and workflows that make our processes faster and more consistent
Analysing non-personal, aggregated data, for example quiz and assessment results, to spot patterns and improve our programmes
Recording meetings and training sessions, generating transcripts and AI summaries

AI supports our team. It does not replace them.

Every course, training session, piece of client work and 1:1 consultation is designed, delivered and owned by a person, not a machine.

Our commitment to you

People stay in charge.
AI never makes final decisions about you on its own. Any decision that affects a client, student or supplier is made, checked and owned by a member of our team.
We protect your information.
We are careful about what goes into AI tools. We only use tools we have checked and approved, and we do not put confidential or personal information into tools that are not approved to handle it.
We check our work.
AI can be wrong or out of date. We review everything it produces before we rely on it or share it with you, and we are responsible for the accuracy of what we deliver.
We are honest about it.
We are happy to talk about how we use AI. It is often the subject of our own training. We will not present AI-generated work as something it is not where that would mislead you.
We use it fairly.
We take care that our use of AI does not treat people unfairly or reflect bias, especially in anything that affects individuals.
We use it thoughtfully.
We use AI where it genuinely adds value, and we stay mindful of its wider impact, including the environmental cost of the tools we choose.

Protecting your information

Keeping your information safe matters to us.

When we use AI tools, we choose ones with proper security and privacy protections, and we do not share confidential or personal information with tools that are not approved to handle it.

If you are a client, supplier or partner and we handle information together, we are happy to talk through how AI fits into that relationship.

What we will not do

We will not let AI make final decisions about people without human oversight.
We will not put your confidential or personal information into AI tools that are not approved for it.
We will not rely on AI for final legal, financial or other professional advice that needs a qualified expert.
We will not use AI in ways that are unlawful, misleading or harmful.

Working with our suppliers and partners

We ask the suppliers and partners we work with to take a similarly responsible approach:

to use AI carefully,
to protect any information we share,
sign an agreement on the data protection and IP of our work,
and to be open with us about how AI is used in the work they do on our behalf.
